Wednesday Work Break: Elite European Performance at Supreme Power

In 1999, Eric Nareshni opened the doors of the now famous Supreme Power in Fullerton, California. Although the company originally specialized in electronics manufacturing, Nareshni began selling automotive parts and had to answer the phone, “Supreme Power — automotive or electronics?” After following his passion toward the market for parts to fit high-end performance European cars, Supreme Power has become a staple in the industry—and a producer of elite quality builds, too. We were fortunate enough to catch up with Nareshni earlier this year and were given a tour of the facility, which was filled with some eye-catching vehicles, and one particularly furry employee.

Having seen Supreme’s toys blasted all over the Internet, I was quite keen on getting a glimpse inside their workshop, and jumped out of the rental car upon our arrival.

Once inside, Nareshni’s welcoming pup greeted us. The Japanese Shikoku was happy to show us around the clean, modern office area, and then we proceeded out into the shop.

Towering over us in the shop was a new set of custom-refinished black warehouse shelving, which stocks a variety of fast-selling parts for the company, including all of the popular tire sizes for modified European applications. Only a shop as detail oriented as Supreme Power would take the time to refinish the warehouse shelving to match its style.

Immediately after opening the door, though, it was hard to miss the company’s bright project car glaring us in the face—a Paint-To-Sample Signal Yellow Porsche 991-chassis GT3 RS. (Insert all of the heart-eyes emojis) The first modifications to this car were 20×9.5-inch ET50 and 21×12.5-inch ET48 centerlock BBS FI-R wheels, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. That would have been enough for the usual GT3 RS owner, but Eric and Supreme took it a step further and installed heritage graphics, a BBI Autosport Exhaust, and Brembo Type III brake discs.

Parked next to the company’s in-ground Hunter Hawk Eye laser alignment rack was a beautiful vintage Porsche 356, which shows that Supreme also has a vested interest in classic European vehicles.

The shop was also filled with various other project vehicles, including another 991 GT3 RS with centerlock BBS E88 wheels, an E92 M3 with Volk Racing TE37 wheels, along with a stout 2007 Cup Series Lotus Exige that Nareshni raced, and the company’s flagship F87 M2, also equipped with BBS E88 wheels.

I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed this place, but then this wouldn’t be the Wednesday Work Break. So finish checking out the gallery below, go to Supreme Power’s website, Facebook, or Instagram for more information on the company and its projects, and then get back to work!
