The 2020 racing season has been full of obstacles; the NMRA and NMCA faced yet another one in the form of Mother Nature while trying to complete the Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing.
The NMRA’s season-opening Spring Break Shootout in Bradenton featured a pair of new exhibitions that were fun to watch, along with all of the NMRA’s wheelstanding, high-flying action!
The act of chasing an NMRA championship is an exercise in dedication and perseverance; it begins with one event in Florida.
The NMRA’s twentieth season is now complete. The racing is done, the champions are crowned, and most importantly, all-Ford drag racing is alive and well—which I believe is a direct result of the NMRA’s effects on Ford performance and the aftermarket as a whole.

The NMRA kicked off the beginning of its 2018 racing season over a weekend of beautiful weather in Bradenton, FL, at Bradenton Motorsports Park. Racers from around the country came to test, tune, and aimed to take a win after spending the winter making various changes to their cars and racing programs for the upcoming season.
The NMRA’s racers shook off the winter rust and made their way to sunny Bradenton, Florida, for the opening event of the 2016 racing season. Drama, record-setting passes, and fun in the sun for all. Check out Front Street Media’s take on the event right here!
